Ask for help

Include your device, operating-system version, PiPaFi version and a description of the issue. Avoid sending private inventory photos or full backup files by default. PiPaFi does not currently generate a support diagnostic report.

Protect or move your inventory

Open Settings → Create Backup and save the file somewhere private and safe. Export before deleting the app. Automatic recovery copies disappear when the app is removed. Settings → Restore Backup replaces current inventory after confirmation, so first export the inventory you want to keep.

Sharing and sync

iPhone and iPad Household Sharing uses iCloud and trusted invitations. Android does not currently offer live iCloud or cross-platform synchronization. You can move compatible backup files manually.

If devices have different changes

PiPaFi does not automatically merge competing offline edits. Export a backup on each device before replacing inventory. Do not erase a device’s inventory to try to clear a sync error. Contact support if the copies differ or you are unsure which copy to keep.

App lock

Android uses your device PIN, pattern or password. iPhone and iPad use supported device authentication, with passcode fallback. PiPaFi does not receive these secrets. Locking the app does not password-protect an exported backup.

One-time purchase

The intended store model is a one-time paid download, not a subscription. Each store displays its price and availability before purchase. Apple and Google purchases are separate; no cross-store purchase entitlement is implemented. Shared household inventory is separate from store purchase Family Sharing.

Android backup size

The current Android build limits JSON inventory/imports to 64 MB. Use appropriately sized photos and keep a verified independent export.

Removing data

You can remove individual items. Earlier recovery snapshots and exported files can retain them. PiPaFi has no dedicated control to erase the complete iCloud household. Owners can manage invitations through Household Sharing → Invite or Manage People. Uninstalling does not remove the shared household or another member’s copy. Contact support before removal if you need help understanding the remaining copies.
